We were looking for some alternative to Great Khan in the malls and Stir Fresh all the way up in Rancho Bernardo. I thought this would be more of a restaurant, but it's more of a fast food place. My fiance and our daughter got their food, and then I had to wait what seemed like 10 minutes for my food. I guess it's because the wok they cook on is rather small. What you pay for is a one trip bowl. A sign on the meat clearly says not to smash the curled thin frozen meat with anything but your tongs due to meat contamination. Since you are not pulling the meat out with your hands, I'm not sure if this really applies. I think the idea is keep you from getting away with too much meat. The owners were very nice. Even though I don't recall asking for any sweat sauces to put on my plate, everything tasted very sweet. The owners do the sauces, and don't let the customer do it. Other than all of that, this place was pretty good.

We ate here a couple of times. The lunch price is decent, but only disappointment is the sign do not push down on the bowl. I thought that for a place like this, you are supposed to pack as much as you can into the bowl. If the meat is frozen and you are not supposed to push down on the bowl, how much food could you get out of it. Probably not worth the money.

Super friendly and nice owners who are there all the time. Good quality food at a good price, and the fact that it's all fresh and pretty healthy is a nice perk.
